spooky3
With sexual addiction if there is such a thing and I don't doubt there is, does it not become necessary to experiment more and more in order to get the satisfaction the body craves? I think you're referring to perversion. Not at all how the BBC describe it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/emotional_health/addictions/sex_addiction.shtml http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_addiction
Murphy Jnr
Can you be addicted to the buzz they get from excercise? I'm adicted to playing my drums! Nothing negative about that! Neighbours might beg to differ
Bonzo77
Neighbours might beg to differ True, they are loud! I'm deep under ground when I'm playing, can barly hear them in the rest of the house.
mart
Don't you get addicted to the release of endorphins, but usually it's relationships which scupper the actual addiction. With sex the reward chemical is dopamine. It is the brain’s reward chemical for survival. You get it with food. The greater the contribution to survival (high calorie stuff, fats/sugars) the greater the dopamine blast. The greatest shot of dopamine to the brain is when you orgasm. Apparently heroine gives the brain an even great blast of dopamine that sex does.

At some point in a relationship the pleasure can subside so it becomes necessary to add a little spice, simply changing the venue can produce a desirable affect, kitchen instead of bedroom, in the open, a field something to heighten the experience, roll play. I wouldn't call any of these a perversion.

spooky3
Agree totally. Anything between consenting adults ok fine. Animals or kids is perversion. The word pervert has really become negative over the years. Yes it can be used to describe messed up individuals, but in general it wasn't like that. Think, "pervert to course of justice", basically it anything not normal. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/pervert http://www.thefreedictionary.com/perverted http://www.thefreedictionary.com/perversion

spooky3
The meaning of the word normal has been the subject of many debates. That may be due to the rise of multiculturalism. Many "normals" all being combined.
