al82
I just a renault megane and i can connect a 5 cd changer to it. I have been to halford and the cheapest one they do is £200 plus installation. Seems a high price for a 6 cd changer. Anyone know anywhere in sheffield where they install them? I figure i'll just get one from ebay.
Nacho
I bought a subwoofer and amp for my car from http://www.mcs-direct.co.uk. I then found Secur-a-car in the Yellow Pages and they came to my house to fit the gear. The number on my invoice is 07971 266314. I don't know if this number is still valid because it was a couple of years ago but they did a great job for me. You'll pay through the roof at Halfords. They sell all kinds of audio and security equipment and also have a very professional installation service. Go and visit them or give them a call on 0114 2556775

Nacho
Hi, They charged me £60 for the installation. It took just under an hour if I remember rightly. I saved at least £150 by buying the gear from the internet as opposed to stores such as Halfords who always charge the RRP. Plus it was nice for them to come to my house as opposed to drving to whichever dealer you choose. I got the box for my sub from Source in Chapeltown - seemed like a good setup but I got the feeling they were a bit on the pricey side. They were defintiely more expensive for buying the sub and amp than internet shops.
