Israel is in danger of emulating its worst enemies

Recommended Posts

If Israel is a colonial power, where is their homeland, you know, for Israel to be colony they need to have another place which is their homeland... do you understand?

Their homeland is Israel. Their "colony" would be the illegal settlements in the West Bank.

Calling it a colony is a bit strong, but calling it illegal is a simple truth. The UN has condemned the building of those settlements innumerable times - but while ever the pro-Israelis refuse to accept that Israel ever does anything wrong, and the anti-Israelis refuse to accept that they ever do anything that isn't wrong, there is no point trying to find a solution.

Israel does a lot wrong, generally just after extreme Islamic groups from Palestine have done something shocking, no not building things, but wantonly killing things.

I'm intrigued. How do the other countries' legal systems have applicability (or even any relevance) in Israel, please?

For once CX is right. In Europe at least, trade deals with Israel have been used to sell goods from settlements as "made in Israel", which has been ruled as illegal and such goods cannot be labeled as israeli in the eu and are not allowed to be imported under eu-israeli trade agreements.
