Across the country, in a few high streets you come across entertainers, people trading goods, like scarves and umbrellas, food and drink.

People just trying to make an honest living.

Should we ban these people.

Poundland, 99p, 98p and 89p shops that litter the High St., they must pay high rents (no wonder the High St. is dead). Surely it isn't fare for them to have competition.

Consider the pedlar.

Here is a short video/documentary from a pedlar;

My Evil Trade - A Pedlar's Life;

Any thoughts?

What of the new market halls and increasingly unaffordable rents?

please provide a concise precis

Couple of pedlars describe what pedlars do, explain the license, current confusion and interview a few politicians/people in authority of some sort.

They do so in a humourous, informative and easy to watch manner.
