Why dont we make Cannabis legal.

We could then produce bio-ethonol to fuel our cars.

we could then make cars again using Henry Fords plastic body panels.

Lotus Eco Elise prototype

We could then make hemp clothing.

We could start a new construction industry using hemp-crete.

We could then eat hemp seeds, one of the most nutritional seeds going.

We could then cure cancer using hemp oil.

We could cure a vast array of other medical conditions.

And we could all smoke in peace without fear of some BS from the police and the catholic controlled court system.

And then we could all chill out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Jaguar, Honda, Nissan, Mini, Toyota, Land Rover, Vauxhall, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Bentley etc make cars as good as any in the world. But that doesn't stop folks buying Fords, VWs and Renaults etc and giving our jobs to foreign workers.

Jaguar and Land Rover: subsidiaries of the Indian company Tata Motors

Honda, Nissan, Toyota: all Japanese

Mini, Bentley, Rolls Royce: owned by BMW, Germany

Vauxhall: owned by General Motors, USA

Aston Martin: Ford, USA and Investment Dar, Kuwait.

But several (maybe all, in some cases) of their vehicles are built by British hands. That's the point she was making.

People could grow their own, make their own work, earn an honest living.

Millions would have to die in a revolution for it to happen! The powers that be will do everything they can to hold onto power.

Maybe they will, but what has that to do with people earning a living?

My standard of living today is about a thousand times better than it was sixty years ago, despite me being lower down the "income percentage" scale now than I was then. None of the powers that be, in all that period, have ever made any deliberate attempt to prevent it improving so much. (Some of them have done unwitting damage to it by trying to preserve nationalised industries that were long past their sell-by date.)

I can remember when Japanese was a synonim for junk. British motor cycles were considered the best in the world. To own a Vincent Black Shadow or Norton Dominator was the dream of any blue blooded man. Then a long came a little company called Honda, with strange bikes that had coil ignition, disk brakes, eventually starters, and they began winning all the races. British and US cars were about equal in junk value, except US cars didn't have Lucas electrics, and those crappy little Toyotas and Datsuns didn't break down. Now I am almost ashamed to say my Huyundai Sonata is the best car I've ever owned.
