destinyblu
It had nothing to do with "chavs" and more the fact that people had to take plastic cups outside to smoke and they where no longer able to play music or have karaoke .....
theripsaw
It had nothing to do with "chavs" and more the fact that people had to take plastic cups outside to smoke and they where no longer able to play music or have karaoke ..... Thats because of the earlier influx of chavs. Everyone knows why it lost its licence..it's publicly available info. It was because of a bunch of druggy chav losers. Ghostrider
Actually, its because of the number of complaints from the old bloke that lives directly across the street..
Andy C
Depends who buys the place. If someone sees potential in it as an independently run free of tie pub operation and can convince the council that it will be run better and not cause the same complaints in order to obtain a new licence then it could still be a pub. The Dronfield Arms is now a nice, well run bar that is doing OK, previously as the Old Sidings it got closed down by police due to the problems there - only thing is this is in a town centre location whereas the Blue Bell is in Hackenthorpe - are there similar opportunities in this area?
