Vague_Boy
saddam is dead thats great in itself Why didn't we go after him when he was gassing the Kurds if we were so driven by noble motives? Only six months after the slaughter at Halabja, the White House lent Saddam Hussein another billion dollars. That was when Saddam was our friend. Same guy, same history of genocidal attacks on women and children as the "villain" we got rid of. A bit Like Gaddafi. Enemy, then friend, then enemy again. All to suit political expediency. Tony Blair's six secret visits to Col Gaddafi If you honestly think that morality and "doing the right thing" have anything to do with our dealings with such characters, you need to hurry up. It's nearly time to set off for nursery school. Have fun with the safety scissors and glitter.

fake
Thousands dead, billions spent and the place is now worse off. We should have kept out.. But that would mean that the governments involved in the war would not be in debt and have cash to spare and that's not what they want.
upinwath
Oh look, another let's bash America thread Perhaps you could give us your reasons why the attack on Iraq was the right thing to do. I don't really expect an answer.
Baz1
What America always wanted it got and now it will be profiting its US companies in the re-building. The people can't be reconstructed but the buildings can- this is how billions will be raked in as the Government contracts work to major firms in USA- the so called war on terror, destroyed the infrastructure of the country- troops may move out but the contractors will be moving in with (or already have) with big fat contract$.
