selphie
I went in Maggie Mays last night, It was alright actually. Not for the younger generation but good for the older 'uns, and you're not plagued by the usual riffraff that are wandering round town, spoiling for a fight. MaggieMays
Maggie Mays (Trippet lane/Holly Street) in the heart of the city centre has been open for 6 weeks now, we hope everyone that has been has had a great time. Heres what we offer to those who have missed out: Gary Sinclair playing the best from the 60's 70's and 80's every Friday and Saturday from 8pm. Rock and Roll, Motown, Northern soul and the odd guilty pleasure will take you back the decades. Our food served daily from 12-9pm is all made fresh and locally sourced including our delicious and exclusive to us a Buffalo Burger, half the fat twice the protein not to mention the taste. Italian Stone Baked Pizzas, hand stretched and topped to order, great for when your hungry or want to share, they are big enough. At 2-4-£10 mon-wed 5-9 they offer great value. Fresh Italian coffee, ground from the bean to add freshness to your cup. Abbeydales Deception is always on offer for the real ale fans, we are expecting to be introducing a second ale this month, alongside the smoothflow of caffreys offering a great alternative to John Smiths in the city centre. In Carling, Amstel, Grolsch and Peroni we have lagers to suit all tastes. We look forward to seeing you soon...
