alyssa
Help I am a widowed lady trying to keep on top of maintaining the house and have suddenly noticed that my garden shed which is quite a large one is absolutely saturated on 2 sides. My son in law recently put me some new felt on the roof and I have treated the outside but it is soaking at the moment and thats before the winter sets in, what can I do please .... MonkeyLover
What about waiting until its dry, and then putting a coat of special outdoor woodstain on, or something like that to protect it?
andygardener
If it's a reasonable size and the roof is well waterproofed, then a lot of water will end up running down the sides unless you have some guttering. In the absense of guttering then as MonkeyLover suggested treat the sides with a good quality waterproofing stain, though at this time of year it's luck of the draw if you get a sufficiently dry day to do it. MrSmith
Cover the whole thing in a large water proof tarpaulin, or pond liner then cover that with some brushwood screening and then plant Ivey and other climbers round it, it looks great when all you can see is the door.
