From your OP, it seems there was more to it than that If you are that eager to find her, you could check facebook. Although, if she has since married, it could prove challenging. If you post your question and details of the lady on Sheffield Indexers or Sheffield Records on Line someone with access to Ancestry may help you or you can get free access at a public library.
