llamatron
I don't think the bbc talking about "persuading" north korea to do anything is going to help matters. In fact that seems pretty irresponsible! Just shussshhhh!
Jim Graham
Sheffield twinned with PyongYang I am sure Sheffield's own Dear Leader comrade Julie Dore will be in mourning for the passing of one of her own. No doubt there will be a minutes silence before the next council meeting. I am equally sure The (Red) Star will be bringing out a memorial souvenir edition (only 50p!!) edged in black. If only Sheffield could reach such a Socialist nirvana as North Korea have done. Labour's councillors and MPs can only dream of such perfection. I know they do their best but........................they are just not in the Kim dynasty class are they?
grafikhaus74
People have odd reactions to this kind of thing. I remember seeing a documentary about Stalin and what stuck with me afterwards was a man who had been persecuted by Stalin and sent to the Gulags admitting that he cried when Stalin died. Very strange. Probably a variation of the Stockholm Syndrome. There was a 'North Korea Travel Advisor' on the Beeb this morning. Wonder if he does Romantic Breaks in Helmand Province? Alien52
I remember watching his father's funeral a few years ago. It was one of the strangest things I've ever seen, thousand of people lining the streets & crying hysterically. All under the watchful eye of security guards. I think that was Princess Diana !!
