NK don't need to choreograph anything. The people are indoctrinated from birth that the Kim's are demigods. They truly believe that every breath they take is down to the leaders benevolence and wisdom. The few dissidents they do have are well advised to play along, lest they and three generations of their families end up in the horrific labour camps.
