hotrock
Wow, what a turnaround, i managed to get a lift into town to speak directly to the management at the Sheffield branch, the conversation was a little confusing on my part due to the heavy duty medication that i am taking. The upshot was that Marks & Spencer bent over backwards and then some, although they had no hampers left, they took pity on my situation and made one up as near as they could product wise, £50 luxury chocolate hamper now done, i was happy, then the Manager floored me with his following statement, "due to the quite obvious stress that the cancellation had caused me, the hamper was to be free of charge", and with the offer of a paid for taxi home. it's not easy to make me cry, but by god i very nearly broke down, well done M & S.
