Is there anyone on here that thinks the same? What are your reasons for NOT celebrating Christmas?

Speccy24
Commercialism. Thanks! I cannot understand the hype with Christmas. Is it me or has this year so far the worst for rubbing it in our faces. Everyone is shopping shopping! It seems compulsary to do so.
quisquose
Throwing a load of "Biblical" reasons why Christmas shouldn't be celebrated is meaningless to me. Christmas is the only Holiday left that is shared by almost everybody. For that reason alone it is worth celebrating with family and friends. wornout53
I am a Christian...I do celebrate Christmas but purely because I am not enough of a killjoy to deny my children and grandchildren what is for children a magical time of year. They all know however that I dislike Christmas and prefer to celebrate Easter.
