HeadingNorth
I'm constantly having to remind people that the warning "may contain nuts" on a bag of peanuts is perfectly valid, since peanuts are not actually nuts. They're peas; so people who are allergic only to nuts, need to be warned that a bag of something which isn't a nut, might have bits of nut in it. But I'm completely stumped by this one. Who would buy a box of a dozen eggs without being aware that the product might have eggs in it?
Guest
But you know in this culture someone would do it just to sue and then claim they didn't know eggs were eggs

HeadingNorth
As sure as eggs is eggs. It only says they "may" be eggs... perhaps eggs is something else.

HeadingNorth
Just checked and my packet of Tuna steaks does come with the warning - Allergy advice: Contains fish It is just about conceivable that someone might not know tuna is a fish. If it said "allergy advice: contains tuna" I would definitely be tearing my hair out!
splodgeyAl
It only says they "may" be eggs... perhaps eggs is something else. Perhaps that covers them if they forget to put any eggs in the box?
