Economics thread. Have you had enough of wizard of oz monetary scientists?

Everyone would have to want to and most don't want a better world for every one they just want a better world for themselves, even the religious leaders don't give a crap about starving people. Most people in the developed world consume more than there fare share of the planets resources in the full knowledge that others are starving, so they either don’t care or think it’s someone else’s problem to solve.

Most people DO want a better world for everyone. They just don't know what to do or are feeling powerless to do anything about it. They aren't the ones exploiting poverty stricken Africans for profit. They are just buying cheep stuff because they feel they need to save money.

We have the power to make change, but that power involves us all working together to overthrow the rulers of today. That is hard. It's also a leap of logic. Especially with the aforementioned "buckets of propaganda" telling us there is nothing we can do about it.

If your so certain that ordinary people couldn't care less, lets hear what you think those people SHOULD be doing right now to change things and stop the people in the 3rd world from starving. Lets assume some of them want to, how exactly would they go about it, given that you have already ruled out violent revolutionary socialism?

Your argument is "The people don't care about the starving, or else they would do something about it."

This is as nonsensical as referring to someone with no food and saying "they aren't hungry, or else they would have some food."

I you really cared about the people that are starving you wouldn't have wasted your money buying a computer; you would have sent the money to the people that need it, you wouldn’t be wasting your time on here you would be out in Africa helping to feed the people.

Churches do the same they talk about helping the starving whilst they languish in the wealth.

My computer was given to me by a charity who try and help disadvantaged young people to try and make something of themselves.

Do you have any suggestions on HOW people might go about preventing starvation?

Do you have a source for your assertions about the world only being able to support 4 billion people?

Do you have the quote from earlier where I was apparently told the author of the article didn't know what he was talking about?

Do you have any specific criticisms of the model I proposed?

Are you going to keep avoiding my challenges to your credibility with baseless assumptions about who I am and what I do?

How do you get everyone to pull together to join the revelation when not everyone thinks the same as you, I don’t think we need a revelation and I certainly don’t think it would solve any of the world’s problems.

So far you haven't risen to a single challenge I have thrown at you. Each time you ignore the question and deflect the issue. What does that tell people about your "credibility" LOL!

You have constantly ignored the answers because you can't understand why anyone would disagree with you.

Please learn the difference between a REVOLUTION and a REVELATION.

Right now your post is nonsensical. It would surely depend on the specific revelation?

What's ironic is that despite your poor spelling and bad grammar you probably get paid more than me. Then you presume that poor people are their through their own choices and that it has nothing to do with luck.

I'll try again....

If not then I suggest you STFU before you make yourself look even more stupid than you already have.

And you accepted it instead of insisting they spend the money on food for the starving, if people cared which they clearly don’t, they would consume only that which is required to sustain their life and send the rest to people that are starving.

Yes

Already told you which posts but you can use your free computer the look back and read the replies.

Yes I have been posting them since I came onto the topic but you don't like the answers so you ignore them.
