jake
Not sure - but I do recall wondering what possessed them to do building work at what would usually be one of their busiest times of the year

jamesogt
It was on a leasehold through Punch, I wonder if it's one that they have sold?
taxman
It's new owners, opening in 2 weeks and will be called bloo 88 (bar & cocktail lounge). I remember when it used to be a proper pub.
Paul2412
It's nice during the day for the pizza offers but it attracts some tossers at night. The drum and bass party for each bank holiday didn't help. It was day time only establishment, before the meat heads and wannabe Geordie Shore idiots got in later. Hopefully this will be better. scottf
If they get rid of the pizzas I am going to have words with the new owners!!!
Fudbeer
Funny how some pubs are ok in the day but you would avoid like the plague at nite. I do remember when it was a proper boozer with a juke box and pinball.
Andy C
It's new owners, opening in 2 weeks and will be called bloo 88 (bar & cocktail lounge). Just followed the link to Sheffield Central website - it has a very annoying floating menu that covers up what you want to read! Bloo 88's website is http://bloo88.com/ but has no content yet
