giddygoat
Some of you might remember my posts seething about play.com.. I eventually got the money back for the wrong item, but then, as I forecast, they'd sold out of the right one.. Managed to finally track one down in a branch of Argos after searching far and wide (they'd sold out for home delivery.) The best sites for me this Christmas have been amazon (of course!) Dunelm Mill - ordered two big heaters and they came when they were supposed to, no fuss or hassle. But the best this year - scan.co.uk when I was buying a tablet (pc thingy!) for my son's gift. They sent me emails and texts every step of the way, telling me when the money had gone through, where the goods currently were, etc., and gave an hour's slot when they would deliver - not this "between 8am and 8pm" lark. They really DID deliver between 2.28 and 3.28pm! Absolutely brilliant! Who would you recommend, or give a slap around the chops to?
*Peaches*
Big thumbs up from me for Tesco, I ordered a 3DS and wasn't sure it'd come in time. It arrived the next working day, bright and early and was a cracking deal
nexusdee
Big thumbs up to Amazon, Forbidden Planet & EBay all orders delivered perfect & in plenty of time. Huge thumbs down to Tesco Direct for not only delivering the incorrect item once but for then delivering the same incorrect item a further 3 times. Ms Macbeth
Well done to M&S, Debenhams and Laura Ashley. Not only did they deliver when they said they would, some of the presents I bought were reduced before Christmas. Result!
