surveyour
Hi, I have seen the recent the thread - Whats the most expensive car in Sheffield?? Lets face it, I am not ever gona get one of those.... unless I win the lottery (unlikely, as not played it in a while) or I win X-Factor (more chance of winning the lottery). Anyway, if you had £10000 to spend on a car - what would you buy??? Dont worry about insurance and stuff - just £10000 on the car itself. Its dont have to be a speed machine, just whatever you like. Sorry, It might be dull to some - but I would like an Original Ford Sierra Saphire Cosworth.

Resident
I'd probably look to buy a proper Mini (not the BMW bastardisation). Pick a decent one up for around £3k and spend the rest on restoring it fully (paint, interior, Cooper options)

libuse
For me, an Overfinch Sport GTS - although I think I might have to add a bit to the £100,000. For my husband, an Ebola Wildcat - just the thing for Sheffield's roads edited to add: - ah, you said 10 thousand not 100 thousand. Oh, well
medusa
If I could afford to insure and run it I'd probably go and find a good SAAB 9000 or 9-5 estate with all of the toys and heated leather seats, then the dog and I could travel in style and comfort. I'm really not bothered about whether my car is trendy or a style statement, I'd just like it to be practical, comfortable and reliable. And I suppose it doesn't hurt at all that the old SAABs that I have driven over the years have been amongst the fastest and most pleasant cars to drive.
