gillybob54
Are these the sort of places you have to book to get a table or is it easy enough to walk in and get seated? definately worth a try Don't think you can book but you can usually get seated straight away unless it's a Friday or Saturday early evening when you might have to wait. Lots of families eat there but it's quieter after about 8pm.
Yog Sothoth
Swanky Franks are excellent burgers - just like good home made ones, and they have a wide variety of toppings and sides. I recommend them, no matter what a couple of others have said.

henry's
Henry's do a fantastic burger - a 6oz steak burger made from Porterhouse Steak, using locally reared cattle. On a toasted bap, stacked with fesh green leaf, beef tomato and sliced gherkin, served with hand cut proper chips. We have 8 toppings to choose from, ranging from the Henry's Big Stack (a beast of a burger with mature cheddar, bacon, a grilled field mushroom and a fried free range hen's egg) to the Meditteranean (with grilled halloumi cheese, chorizo and olives), or just plain if you prefer! willj87
I hear London Club have an excellent burger on their new menu, although I don't think I'd be able to order anything but the steak from there as it's the best steak I've ever had. The Ultimate burger at the Forum is pretty awesome too.

AnthonySUFC
Find a pub that is part of the Flaming Grill chain. They do a burger challenge for about £9. Its massive has something like 12oz burger, 2 chicken burgers, chilli con, cheese, bacon, onion rings etc and then a giant potion of chips to go with it.
