Balpin
We talk about Denis as being our most honest man, and I agree. A better socialist, and a man for the worker cannot be found. But an even better socilaist George Gallowhoy, or what ever his name is, is a good man.

Balpin
And that is where we part ways. The man is self serving publicity whore with dubious foreign connections. Dennis skinner he ain't. I completely agree about the self seeking whore. But I do believe the man is a socialist. Mind you, I am still deluding myself that Tony Blair was a socialist. There are not many of us left these days. How many remember those cold nights trying to sell the 'Workers Press' round the pubs in the town ? Just me eh? Thought so. Green Web
Dennis skinner will not and has never been gagged. Nu labour might have tried, but failed. He still regularly has his say in the commons (because he is there all the time, usually first). He's a shining example of what an mp should be. If occupy got their act together and put someone like that forward who knows what would happen. That's if any like him exist anymore, which I doubt. But then why would any decent honest man still have anything to do with the Labour party?
Gordonb
Tony Benn. Listen to him talk on any radio and TV program and you will agree that everything he says he has said all of his time in parliament. Might not agree with his politics but admire him for bring true to himself and his values. You could put thatcher in there as you could trust her to do what she said she would do. Again, might not agree with her politics but she did stand up for this country when required
Vague_Boy
If on the off chance there is any you trust then who are they and why? I don't know about trust but Frank Field and Tony Benn probably deserve a mention. They belong to a different generation alas. Tony Blair, Harridan Harm-man and the Milliband Twins are just odious leeches on the backside of Britain in comparison.

Maybe they deserve a mention but still a few uncertanties we could all pick upon, but surely there must be some councillor or MP representing Sheffield we could still trust, although not sure who? Jim Graham
If on the off chance there is any you trust then who are they and why? I am not sure trust is the right word but my MP is someone I can rely on when I need help. In the face of a Labour council acting illegally and then refusing to investigate formal complaints he arranged an investigation by the Local Government Ombudsman who found in my favour. He then wrote to the council and demanded support for my family which we got. His name? Nick Clegg. He may have his weaknesses and the left affect to hate him but he's a reliable constituency MP and, at the moment, he is worth his weight in gold for anyone in his constituency. When I have had problems with NatWest and others I just write to them and cc Nick Clegg MP & DPM on the bottom. It's amazing how that concentrates minds in some useless organisations. It's a pity in this city his followers in politics are such a useless bunch of ...........
