Recommended Posts

Ive had my ford for almost a year now and its been perfectly fine, recently some time now when i try to start it, it just makes a clicking sound and doesnt do anything, then it takes quite a few turn of the key for it to start, im not sure if it is anything to do with the starter motor or not..if it is how much will it cost to get fixed??? any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.. thanx

Rapid clicking sound is a sign of a poor battery or connection I would say..

Could be a dodgy earth connection! Check everything is tight!

my starter motors used to do this on both my clios, just take it off and give it a little clean or smash it with a hammer  If it's starting then it's not the battery
