Tye1337 Posted January 10, 2012 Share Posted January 10, 2012 hi guys i am very new to speakers and subs and things but i need help with the following NOTE: i am wiring this up for my bedroom not a car to plug my phone into to play music! right i have two 7" speakers and a sterio from a car i want to put the 2 speakers in a box for the bass and i want to wire it up to a plug socket if possible but i have no idea how to do it Confused Confused please can somone help me and is there anything else i need or anything will look at this thread every 2 mins or so to check see if theres any replys thanks so much! intruder 600 Posted January 10, 2012 Share Posted January 10, 2012 if u are having this in the house u will need a converter,that is a box u plug into mains,then the output must be 12 volts,to power the car radio.try maplins hillsbrough,opposite morrisons on langset road,or u can get a 12 volt car battery in ur room and a battery charger,the only problem with that is if u spill the fluid out the battery it is ACID,not good for flooring,so the converter is the safest bet.
