TaxiBaz
does anyone else find this song creepy and wrong or is it just me? the sound of that old man singing it makes my skin crawl seriously! Get a life, or ask less trolling subject's on a different forum. I love 'little girls'. One's my daughter, 17, this month. The other is my granddaughter, 1, this month. I also love little boys, my grandson, 1, this month as well. My son, not so little, 19, next month. 'Thank heaven', for 'common sense' ;-) Without it, what would us infidel's do. Allen
It was a perfectly innocent song in 1957, as someone has already said. I remember my Grandad singing it to my sister (aged seven) and me laughing as she enjoyed the attention. It's todays society thats creepy!

Murphy Jnr
It's still an innocent song and in the context of the film it comes from it makes perfect sense. More worrying is that peoples minds wander to the very acts that supposedly sicken them.
MC Spyda
You will only find the song creepy if you are the type of person that thinks about that sort of thing anyway, and chances are you are someone who needs locking up. Normal people can listen to songs like this perfectly innocently until nonces in denial try to ruin it for you.
MrSmith
does anyone else find this song creepy and wrong or is it just me? the sound of that old man singing it makes my skin crawl seriously! Each time I see a little girl Of five or six or seven I can't resist a joyous urge To smile and say Thank heaven for little girls For little girls get Bigger every day Thank heaven for little girls They grow up in The most delightful way. Those little eyes So helpless and appealing When they were flashing Send you crashing Through the ceiling Thank heaven for little girls Thank heaven for them all No matter where, No matter who Without them What would little boys do Thank heaven (2x) Thank heaven for little girls. Looks to me like the song writer is saying without them and the fact they grow up to be women we wouldn't be here and boys would grow up to be men and have nothing to do. I don’t find it creepy at all, you reading into it something that isn’t there.
