European Figure Skating 23-29 January 2012 Motorpoint Arena

My daughter and I went on the Friday, we went in the morning and watched the dancing pairs go through their routines and have their music timed, then after a short break it was the Ladies Short Programme I think but whatever it was it was brilliant. We really enjoyed it, the skating was brilliant with some breathtaking lifts, the costumes were stunning and it all added up to make it a lovely day.

 

My daughter dropped me off home and picked her youngest daughter up from school and they went back as she loves ice skating and they stayed until 6pm when she started to get tired (she is only just 5) so the tickets were good value. The little one loved it so much that my daughter has booked her a block of ice skating lessons so you never know hosting them there may give UK a future champion, ha ha.
