I1L2T3
1 ounce = 28.3495231 grams More about calculator. I know not all silver people own is scrap, but when they go with a small anmount of jewellery and 'weigh it in' at a jewellers, they tend to pay scrap value, even if they intend to polish it up and resell it x 1oz of sterling silver is 1oz of sterling silver. It is 92.5% pure which means approx 28.35g of silver content. On scrapgold uk: 1oz of 0.500 = £7.42 1oz of 0.925 = £14.64 1oz 0f 0.999 = £16.81 28.35g of pure silver is worth £15.13 Don't get ripped off. If I had a 1oz 0.999 silver coin I'd wang it on ebay for £30 and it'd sell within days. I'd never take £16 for it.
