That would be the same Enoch Powell who was a minister of a Tory government in the 50s that allowed in a wave of immigration to meet a labour shortage and then spent decades opposing that same policy. He wasn't "before his time". Those who name him as the person most correct about immigration always conveniently ignore the fact that he helped to allow that immigration in the first place.
