surveyour Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Hi, I started a thread a while back asking what car you would buy if you had £10000 to spend, and I loved some of the responses. I was wondering, as a bit of a spin-off.... whats the worst car you have ever bought (or bike, van, truck etc). Mine had to be a Rover 216 I had years ago, it was a F reg.... and was a proper nightmare. I broke down so many times I lost count, and always in the hardest of places. I remember one time it was snowing, and the drivers window fell down into the door.... it was freezing (I am sure the car went out of its way to make my life hell). Parsons Cross? How many had log books:hihi::hihi: My worst car was an Escort estate followed closely by a Fiesta. I'd never have a Ford again even if it was free. Best one apart from our present car a 406 was a 1988 Peugeot 305 which we put it through 5 tests and in all that time the only things it failed on was handbrake needed adjusting and headlight needed resealing, Then some kind person ran into OH while he was waiting at red traffic lights on Stevenson road. He admitted liability but insurance company wrote it off because they said repairing it wasn't economical as it was old car. We were gutted.
