Worst car you ever bought?

Recommended Posts

I bet you eat a lot of pork pies as well.

French cars are total and utter crap.

Sorry to have to disagree Balpin but we've had 4 Peugeots and they have all been brilliant. Two got wrote off in accidents which were not our fault and one was so bad the fire brigade was looking for bodies not two people who were walking around unscathed apart from whiplash and the 3rd we sold for more than we paid for it to upgrade from 405 to 406 which went though 4th test last August and passed again

austin allegro

That was the 1st car I had and it was brilliant. I paid £250 for it had it 2 years and sold it for £350 in the stupid idea that I'd like an escort estate which turned out to be the biggest pile of junk I've ever had.

Renault Laguna, the biggest bag of ****e I have ever known.

Lovely to drive, but the electronics are total and utter crap. It has cost me a fortune.

I will never buy another Renault, ever.

I could have written the above but would also have had to add the fact that the six speed gear box is made of egg shells!

Normally, I would have to agree as generally speaking, anything French is crap. However I had a pug 306 and never once let me down, was a great car..RIP.

A 1979 MG Midget, with too many problems to mention.

Suffice to say, I'm lucky to be alive after the incident with the brakes on Long Lane in Loxley.

I've never bought a British made car since.
