The Everyday Champions Church is now re-jigging its proposal for a creationist school under a new name, Exemplar - Newark's Business Academy. http://ecc.churchinsight.com/Groups/133186/Everyday_Champions_Church/Free_School/Free_School.aspx It's the same url as previous, the only difference beyond the name seems to be the dropping of references to creationism. Religious education shouldn't be taught or need teaching, A God would be more that capable of educating everyone at the same time without diverting its attention from the more pressing matters it may be dealing with. It is in normal CofE or RC schools. No part of religion is taught as fact and all major religions are studied and discussed to give kids a wider understanding of other faiths and to try and get rid of ignorance of many people when it comes to the faiths of others. He preached a lot in assembly but never explained that the stuff he said might not be true. Whereas evolution does need teaching because there would be no supper entity to inform everyone how we came to be. Is your supper entity a piece of cheese served with crackers?
