VideoPro
Only in the USA Ramps. They are protesting the proposed SOPA bill and quite rightly too. On the surface, "Stop Internet Piracy Act' might sound like a good thing to some, but it is extremely broad and will result in innocent sites being closed down for no good reason. I'd like to see Google come out in sympathy too, but worldwide. That would really show these extreme conservative US senators. Especially when they ask their secretary to draft a form letter... "Steal a template. Google it". These are the people that really hate our freedom.
ElasticMan
Wiki is already blacked out for me -good on them. Google 'is not shutting down for the day, but will be highlighting the issue on its US home page.'

L00b
I'd like to see Google come out in sympathy too, but worldwide.Won't happen, since they got the SOPA amendment they were after (excluding liability for search engines).
