Want to find the middle ground between playgound football and professional academies? SAS & Lucozade Powerleague Sheffield are pleased to announce a one-off trial day at Powerleague, Stadium Way on the 13th February 2012, 9.00am - 3.00pm. Open to boys and girls aged 7 - 12, the cost of the day is a discounted price of £5 for the day (parents - a childcare option for less than a £1 an hour!) Run by UEFA & FA trained and qualified football coaches, the day is structured to look at skill development, tactical awareness, positional training and technique improvement. The day will also include match practice and competitions throughout. All children will receive a certificate of attendance. The day is a one-off trial day, looking to get a core group of players we can then develop during each future holidays. The coaches have links to some football clubs and centre of excellencse, so any gifted players will have the opportunity for possible trials at such places.
