Omnitude
Is there any good places and I take my gf for her 22nd? I viewed the restaurants in Leopald square but wasn't too sure. I want somewhere that wont be empty but is really good. Price won't affect my decision. All comments are much appreciated.

pottedplant
Thanks, isn't that a pub restaurant? No it is a "upmarket" (if that is the right word?) cafe - sells posh fish and chips, risottos etc owned by the same people as Artisan. It is always busy so at least you will have a good atmosphere. Very rustic - wooden tables / menu on blackboards. In the city centre you may want to look at Gustos near Cathedral opposite orchard Sq - an italian which is also usually busy. Or how about good coffee, sandwiches and cake at the Patesserie Valerie. Another alternative may be afternoon tea at the Leopold or St Pauls. Hope you find somewhere that suits.
