danot
And there is your problem. Atheism does not follow from the philosophical position of agnosticism. It stands alone. jb It doesn't stand alone when someone claims to be an agnostic atheist.
Chris_Sleeps
It doesn't stand alone when someone claims to be an agnostic atheist. Are you claiming that until someone can say 'I have certain knowledge that there is no God', then atheism cannot exist? We either believe in God or admit that it is unknowable? danot
atheism is not believing in a god. You don't have to consider the possibility that you might be wrong. So atheism is- 'having no reason to consider whether God/s do or don't exist'? quisquose
It doesn't stand alone when someone claims to be an agnostic atheist. Yes it does. Age and sex stand alone, and they still stand alone when somebody claims to be an old man.
