quisquose
is that for taxis it goes against every thing els on the net i have no problem getting insured big car and all that £400 per year that dsnt sound like a fraud hotspot does it Action Fraud is a government agency that helps to co-ordinate the fight against fraud in the UK, what's it got to do with taxis? My insurance is £280 for an Audi estate. We live in a relatively high insurance postcode due to the relatively high number of thefts of high performance cars, which in turn is in the 2nd worst city for cash for crash frauds. However, my own insurance is a poor correlator of this because in over 25 years of driving I have never made a single claim. Insurance incorporates many factors. Bradford might have higher average insurance costs than Sheffield, but there might be more thefts, more uninsured drivers, more accidents, or the average age of drivers might be younger. St Albans might have the worst junction in the country for cash for crash frauds. None of this disproves the fact that Sheffield is currently the 2nd worst city for cash for crash frauds as mentioned in the following links: http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/crash-for-cash-hotspots-aug11 http://www.insurancefraudbureau.org/files/press_release_pdfs/post_code_hot_spots_30_august_2011__final2_pdf.pdf http://www.insuranceage.co.uk/insurance-age/news/2105112/crash-cash-hotspots-maintain-position-q2 http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/c304be10-c828-11e0-9852-00144feabdc0.html#axzz1k6Xa82sw

Jack Pot
so long and short of it - have we established that the fraudster has been handed over to dibble? If not, the OP could now be considered to be in part responsible for all our insurance premiums going up. Grass him up, you may get a Community Trust Action Award for your bravery! Forumosaurus
If you do decide to claim I would be careful what you're posting on an open forum. I was crashed into and would be frankly embarrassed to try and fake a whiplash claim even though I had companies calling me up the day after the accident trying to get me to effectively fake the injuries. Seriously though I think the things you have already said on this thread could be used as substantial evidence against you should you try to claim.
