CXC3000
To be honest, I didn't find it too interesting. Their bias was so obvious it was pretty embarrassing at times. The only time it was worth watching (was) when it's reports were coming in from the Occupied Territories, and how the Palestinians were treated on a daily basis at the hands of the brutal IDF. Given their embarassingly obvious bias, what made you think that those reports would be accurate even though almost nothing else was? Actual footage of the murderous SS-IDF Brigade physically abusing the Palestinians.

ronthenekred
In all honesty I really enjoyed Press TV, almost in the same way I used to enjoy Not the 9oclock News and Spitting Image. I guess some though took spitting image and PTv seriously rather than satirically...who knows , maybe NTNN too.
Vague_Boy
Cue the conspiracy theorists who've lost one of their favourite channels... con·spir·a·cy/kənˈspirəsē/ Noun: 1. A secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful. Doesn't seem very secret to me.
david weston
Don't think they would deliberately ditch their target audience in the west. I'm unsure if the license requirement was the reason, anyone know where to find that out ? There's an old saying "Know your enemy!", it's far more difficult now. It's given them an excuse to claim they were censored by the UK government to their home audience. That is what they really wanted and is why they refused Ofcom's offer of help in getting a license for their Tehran office so they could continue broadcasting. MAC33
Whatever George W Bush wants he gets it seems. 'Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories regarding the events of September 11.' So press tv as a voice open to these theories was rightly closed down .
