Warburg Pincus pays Indian staff 7p per hour more than UK staff!

High Street shopping chain Poundland is launching an inquiry after a boy of seven was found to be working 100 hours a week in an Indian sweatshop producing goods for the store.

The child, known as Ravi, was reportedly earning just 7p a hour to make napkin rings for the cut-price chain.

Meanwhile, staff in the UK come with a £2000 state subsidy and work for free.

 

Surely adult UK staff should be getting at least 7p per hour? Especially if child labourers are pulling that in India!

Indian is Indian, people in the Uk should get 8p an hour without any benefits including crappy water and s*it called curry everyday.:rant:

Surprising how many people want to work here for low wages whe a lot of UK people can't get out of bed to get to the Job Centre and we allow it.

Completely agree, get them kicked off benefits and pay them 7p per hour with no state subsidy.
