Guest brownd95
it sounds a bit like this link but faster and coming from the engine which only happens at around 2000 - 3000rpm, then there is a judder at 3000rpm there is no noise after the judder ( above 3000rpm)
Dardandec
Pinking is a metallic ball bearing rattle type noise. What causes this is when the ignition ignites the fuel/air mixture too early on its upward compression stroke, which then tries to force the piston back down on the stroke its just come up on, instead of it going past top dead centre and pushing the piston back down on its power stroke. This still takes place but due to it being slightly early, the piston will come up against an amount of resistance due to the centrifugal force of the flywheel, causing it to rattle about in the cylinder for a few degrees until it goes past top dead centre and proceeds on its power stroke.
