MrMoran
Good grief, lighten up a little. Did you take lessons in life from the film, "Witchfinder General"? Ok the OP did something silly, but if he fesses up and learns from it, where's the harm? If you have to ask that then there would be little point in me trying to explain to you. nubile
I remember this thread dealing with a similar situation. I can't remember the outcome, but it may be worth a read.
GodStar
Just go pick it up and take your verbal rollocking. The alternative is leave it with em and pay for a new licence
Muldoon
What beats me is, how the hell did your 'mate' expect to get away with using your driving licence when it has a photo of you on it ?
Resident
Call me harsh if you will but I reckon being caught doing something like this should be an automatic 6 month suspension of whatever ID was used.
Rupert_Baehr
So if somebody used a birth certificate to obtain a passport fraudulently, how long would you kill the owner of the birth certificate for?
denlin
So if somebody used a birth certificate to obtain a passport fraudulently, how long would you kill the owner of the birth certificate for? :hihi::hihi: Good one. Think he meant the license be suspended not the person.
Mercurian
Turkeysub is guilty of behaving stupidly, that is all. If everyone who ever behaved stupidly was taken to court the courts would need to open 24/7. It isn't as if the person that the card was lent to was going to harm anyone by the deception. If ever there was a strong case for cutting some slack, this is it. It is hardly crime of the century. And as for behaving stupidly, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"
andyofborg
Go in with other supporting identification and state it was taken off you, when they ask for cctv tell them the club wont give it to you due to the data protection act. that sounds like a good way to get attempting to pervert the course of justice added to the charge sheet
