Colt
I had a filling at the beginning of Jan, it never gave me any trouble before but he said it needed doing. Woke up this morning and that tooth ache's. Is there any kind of like warranty, i.e. should i beable to go more then 20 days before the tooth aches when it never did before? If i have to pay for it doing again then so be it, but im sure it should not hurt this soon after.
Kidorry
I think you have a 2 month warranty if it is on the N.H.S. It is at my dentist.
kermit103
My NHS dentist told me there would be no charge for any repair work done within a year.
PeteMorris
http://www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/1781.aspx?CategoryID=74&SubCategoryID=74 You apparently have 2 months from treatment, and not just if it's the same problem. It could be another problem, providing it's within the same charge band. (or a lower band) Hope that helps!

I get this quite often after a filling and it sometimes hurts more than the original pain, it is usually caused by the filling being too high and simply needs filing down so there is no pressure on nerve when you eat etc.The dentist never charges for this sometimes months after the work but he is NHS private may be different.
