kittenta
Had to take the car into a garage recently and mentioned the MOT was almost due. The bloke said that there were some new rules being brought in this Jan / Feb but wasn't sure what they were (it's not an mot place). Does anyone know if this is correct and if so what the new rules are? Importantly, are they now failing for airbag lights being on? Thanks. kittenta
http://www.lancingcommercial.co.uk/latest-news-lancing-commercial/new-mot-rules-effective-april-2012.html Thanks for that . He must have got the date wrong then. I know they didn't fail the mot for the airbag light before but does anyone know if they are supposed to? Car due it's mot and it's pointless taking it in if it's just going to fail! It's been through diagnostic and didn't come up with any errors so it must be a wire somewhere . truman
They won't check for that then? I suspect they'll check for lights coming on/going off as they should do when you turn the ignition on...
