Torture in Libya

Recommended Posts

You have a new name, The Ostrich Forum.

Pretend things are not happening, and everything will be pretty.

Naivete writ large.

No-one is pretending that there isn't torture happening in Libya.

You, however are bizarrely claiming that it's all Cameron's fault - not so much head in the sand as head in cloud cuckoo land.

Thanks for that you two.

The old grey cells aint what they used to be.

Id forget my own name if given the chance

Best wishes

Mr Smith :)

You also forgot how to spell Lusitania.

Incidentally that was another thing done by a Tory bigwig.

Churchill.

He knew the Uboat was waiting off the St Georges Channel, but did not warn the Americans.

Lusitania stopped to pick up the pilot and the U boat had them.

Thereby bringing the USA into WW1 to help with the denoument.

Clever bloke Churchill.

Pity we cant say the same for Cameron

I notice the usual suspects are trying to trivialise this matter.

But I am suprised that an egalitarian like Halibut is excusing state sanctioned torture.

I thought he despised such things.

But, as they say, you live and learn.

It is only lip service he pays obviously.
