me-and-pippo
Wentworth Terrace (Upperthorpe) was the name of a row of ten or twelve terraced houses, their gardens fronted onto Upperthorpe Road, between Martin Street and Wentworth Street. About here If you PM me your email addy, I will send you a map.
hillsbro
...I am assuming it was (hopefully) a large house...The house numbering in Wentworth Terrace evidently followed that of Upperthorpe Road, the twelve houses having the odd numbers between 63 and 85. To judge from the evidence of the 1911 census (when each householder had to give the number of rooms in the property) each of the houses had six rooms, not counting any "scullery, landing, lobby, closet or bathroom".
