hotrock
Our family went a couple of years ago to Sunny Beach, the prices were unbelievably cheap, we bought 2 extra suitcases whilst there to bring back all our trinkets, even though we went all inclusive we still went out for evening meal steak etc, family of 3 adults & 1 child all drinks etc worked out about £25. clean beaches very friendly locals overall 10/
spudgun
We`re going this year to sunny beach for the fourth time and we love it. There`s loads for the kids to do (2 water parks). Everything is so cheap. We ventured out on a bus last year to a town called Pomerie and found a pint of beer at about 12p. We`ve read bad reports on trip advisor about bag snatching and pick pockets but this has never happened to us. If you use your common sense you`ll be fine. All the hotels are lovely and everyone is really friendly. A meal for 2 with drinks is about a fiver. The stuff in the shops is really cheap too, okay so it may be fake but it`s a good fake. If you`re going with kids i would suggest stopping just out of the main centre (not too far though) as it can get a bit loud at night.

andygardener
If you like idedible food and unbelievably unfriendly people Bulgaria is fab! (and that's just the nicer bits like Sozopol and old Nessebar) As for Sunny Beach, if your idea of fun is wandering through a grid between what look like Soviet appartment blocks with gaps in between lines with tat stalls and gypsy beggers, go for it! Or save yourself a few quid and spend a week in the rough end of Glasow instead.

spudgun
Take a look at trip advisor and look at the reviews. The topography is beautiful in the area. i`ve been to other parts of europe and they pale into insignificance. Pm me if you need any answers
