Lloyds TSB hit by fraud scam

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

just been passed this info from a friend in my organisation - I've checked personally and it appears to be a genuine threat...

Please ensure that this is circulated to all staff, as any of them who bank with LloydsTSB & use Internet Banking may be affected thanks

Fraudulent emails

If any customers make enquiries about this issue, please advise that these are not genuine emails and that Lloyds TSB never send emails that ask for this information to be recorded in this way. If customers have received such an email, please ask them not to respond and forward the message immediately to Online@lloydstsb.co.uk. If a customer is concerned that they may have divulged their details or encounter a problem when trying to forward the email to us, please ask them to call our Internet banking Helpdesk immediately on 0845 3000 116 (+44 20 7649 9437 from overseas) Textphone (if you have a hearing or speech impairment): 0845 3002280 (+44 141 303 6314 from overseas.
