MANHEAD
Hi, I bought a car the other week and it absolutely stinks of cigarettes, I've tried air freshners, neutradol, febreze and also had it valeted today but still smells the same, any suggestions before I pour a big bottle of jeyes fluid inside? Only joking of course:thumbsup:
arrodbo
I think a basin of bi carbonate of soda placed in the car overnight for a couple of nights will absorb the smell.

Nataliie
Or a lemon, with the fleshy bit took out mostly with bicarb in it! If you can sit it with windows open on your drive or something, that should help too.
Plain Talker
Your fridge smells of cigarrettes? lol, no, but before I gave up smoking 10 years ago, the house did have an "Eau-de-Ashtray" pong, but the fridge often whiffed of strong cheeses or vegetables and occasionally strongly spiced foods, abd the bicarb worked a treat. Nataliie
Oh, and most likely the smell will be coming from the ash tray thing in the car, so even if it looks clean, I'd clean it again a few times. They sttttiiiink after they've been used. You could also put some dryer sheets under the seats and mats etc.
