The half roast pigeon - how popular was that around here? I think loads of people fancy them, but few eat them do they?

Everything in our kitchen is homemade and fresh so to suggest we have stock left over from Christmas is absurd, the kitchen is too small for stockpiling anyway! Please come and try our food before passing judgement. The Half Roast Pigeon is delicious and was a popular dish on our Christmas menu, hence why we have kept it on until we launch our Spring menu in March. http://www.thewickatbothends.co.uk/2011/11/great-review-from-the-star/ x:love:x

Except, I didn't "suggest" anything, I asked a question, that's all. And I didn't "pass judgment" either. I made neither a suggestion or a judgment - read it again. Seems like I hit a nerve though for some reason? I wonder why? (this is also a question - the clue is in the ? at the end of the sentence).
