elec recover
Anyone know the update on the Bradway Hotel. Have heard that a holding company have the lease and are looking to put in experienced pub management and open again selling cheap beer in volume on a similar basis to Whetherspoons beer buying methods.........its been empty long enough. DerbyTup
That should attract a nice clientele. That's what I thought Verona - and there are a lot of young kids in that area who this will appeal to. Only a matter of time before it opens and closes down quickly again then. jemson
It hasn`t got it `right` in the last few years though. The nice food (rave review in Star) didn`t do well enough and then the next manager did all the carling, smooth with prices splashed on gawdy chalkboards outside. The location is right between two very different catchment areas who are tricky to mix imo.
Andy C
Depends what beer they are selling cheap. If its Carling, Stella etc it will attract trouble (again). If it is real ale then the clientele attracted may be different.

foxy lady
We dined there a couple of times and it was OK if unspectacular, but then it started to suffer from creaping chaviness. Goodbye... The cheap beer idea probably means we won't bother with the hello.
