Stuff sanctions, Jails should be run aka the USA, criminals in leg irons and restricted movement hand cuffs. They are there to be PUNISHED not fussed over. Therein lies to-days problem, jail is like an extended holiday, regular meals, telly, medical attention as and when needed - time to toughen up and make jail a place the criminals DON'T want to visit. USA has a high level of recidivism which confirms that they do not work-do you take your holidays in jail,and if not why not.They are always open to people with educational problems like dyslexia and prejudiced behaviour.
