llamatron
What has it achieved? The inappropriate beer tap was swiftly removed. The ensuing brouhaha has highlighted how much misogyny is still present. She achieved the removal of a beer tap from a place she never frequents and we will never see! Then I think we can agree the winners here were the brewery, the anti feminists and the people who want their lives micromanaged by the state. Score! ferno
You tried to do that by suggesting she needed to get laid. That's thoughtful debate in your world is it? I find it helps if you picture conrod and frank sidney as the disgusting old perverted fat men from French and Saunders.
mj.scuba
So if I'm offended by... sheep in fields... or the phallic shape of cones on the road, nobody should call me mad? Despite the fact that I clearly would be? I will never look at traffic cones in the same way again

Cyclone
I used the term anti-feminist as there was plenty of anti-feminist sentiment expressed in a number of posts, as evidenced by a plethora of insults aimed at not on Green but those who either support or do not disagree with her. I would not bracket those examples in with Top Totty. I would, anyone who objects to it is clearly searching for things to object to and/or mad. Suffragette1
The very fact that the establishment caved in to this ridiculous demand shows that some people are scared of being labelled misogynist simply for standing up for common sense. Where does 'common sense' come into this? Do you think that an ale called Top Totty with a picture of playboy bunny-esque woman is appropriate in this day in age? That's thoughtful debate in your world is it?Not referring to a poster, but to the woman in the Commoins who clearly must have been in such need or wouldn't have been so petty about a sign on a beer pump. It is to those who don't take little harmless things too seriously, at least.
PeteMorris
I'm just wondering does any bloke on here find David Beckham prancing around in his H&M new range of underwear offensive. Or the 'hunky' blokes in the mens perfume ads remotely offensive? I bet none of the blokes do! Well, obviously I can only speak for myself, and I don't. I'm guessing the ladies quite like them! So I just wonder why a beer pump clip is so utterly obhorent to them. It just puzzles me, that's all
